    Congrats to our Grant Recipients!

“Though the word beautification makes the concept sound merely cosmetic, it involves much more: clean water, clean air, clean roadsides, safe waste disposal and preservation of valued old landmarks as well as great parks and wilderness areas. To me … beautification means our total concern for the physical and human quality we pass on to our children and the future.”

- Lady Bird Johnson

    KTB Day at the Capitol

    02-21-2019 12:00 am

On February 21, Keep Texas Beautiful will be visiting our elected officials at the Texas Capitol to educate the new legislature on the value of KTB programs and the positive impact that our affiliates have in their local communities.

We're looking for affiliate coordinators, board members and volunteers to join us for this exciting event. KTB will host a breakfast on KTB Day to train all participants on the goals and messaging for the event. We will then travel as a group to the Capitol and participants will then meet with their district’s elected officials or their staff throughout the day. Meetings will last approximately 10 minutes and will be scheduled in advance.

We are currently developing the details and activities for the day and would like to know who is interested in participating. If you would like to join us in Austin on February 21, please complete this form, and we will keep you posted as our plans evolve.
